So this is a picture that was taken when we had to go shoot during class for a quiz.  I know there are improvements that I could have made, but I just like the light on him and it is kind of a well known pose for a spanish male, all he is missing is a Pancho.  Seeing light as more than just an element to light the scene, but seeing light to enhance the characteristics of the scene.

So this is home.  Not literally, but here is the Ventura Theater, where actually a lot of big names play...and Oh let me tell you, Daughtry played here last week.....A sold out show!
The quiet beauty in color, light, and form happen everywhere, and it is just taking the moment to look at something in this way gives a mood and a personality to what would otherwise be just a tree without leaves and a wall that needs paint.  There is beauty everywhere.

So this is an early stop action photo.  Smoke is very photogenic.

I love this photo of Ben Harper!  Not that I couldn't have taken a picture of him myself, but me and everyone who was there have those photos...but does everyone else have this guy's shot...Nope, just me and him! (Ben Harper performing at a peace rally for the A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition on March 17, 2007 in Hollywood)

I like this photo a lot because, I stop at it every time I am looking at my portfolio.  It is this little girl who is lost in the chaos if this time honored tradition, but still apart of it, and wanting to be apart of it. (Dia de los Muertos Festival at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery 2007)

This blog might be a little random at first, as I am trying to show my work a little at a time.  What I do want to work on is getting the next "Money Shot" like this one. (The Gold Man outside of the Kodak Theater in Hollywood)
The funny thing about the actual street is that it looks like a mini project...is it just the city's way of saying Why Worry, at least you have a roof over your head...I like this photo as my desk top because I need to stop worrying, I think we all do. (Beaverton, OR)

The Beginning

I am wanting to try to reach out to the world by seeing it from a different point of view, in a different light, filled with color, culture and honesty.  (Hollywood Forever Cemetery)
